Rental Housing Visits
(long or short term, unfurnished or furnished)
The housing research program for rental property is a full service program designed to allow the transferee to move-in as quickly and efficiently as possible in the new home.
This service applies to long term rental contracts as well as short term leases, as well as for unfurnished or furnished homes or even unfurnished rentals with furniture rental.
This highly targeted housing research program allows for a pre-selection, within the allocated timeframe of a home corresponding to the transferee’s expectations all the while respecting the budget or location specific constraints highlighted by the employing company.
CSU’s system has demonstrated value. It starts out initially with telephone and e-mail communication with the transferee in order to determine a precise and realistic research target.
Une fois ce cahier des charges arrêté et une date de visite (ou des dates) fixée, CSU missionnera une de ses Conseillères de recherche pour exécuter la sélection de logements à visiter. La sélection ne comportera que des logements correspondant aux critères et paramètres arrêtés dans le cahier des charges.
Once this targeted research determined and agreed upon, a date or dates of visits are scheduled. CSU then assigns one of our Housing Consultants in order to undertake the housing search for suitable accommodations. The housing selection will only correspond to homes answering to the transferee’s criteria and agreed upon parameters.
The housing consultant will accompany the transferee at the time of the housing visits (up to 10 or 12 homes visited in 1 day in accordance to the availabilities in the research area). The CSU Housing Consultant will guide the transferee on the specific qualities of each home, will help in the choice process, and will provide active assistance in the lease negotiation process and inspection-in visit. The CSU Housing Consultant will also take all the required steps in regards to setting up the gas, electricity, water, telephone, and maintenance contracts.
Whether the lease is in the individual’s or company’s name, the homeowner who can be on institutional group or an individual, CSU will know how to guide our client to the best of his/her interests.
P.S. : CSU’s housing research services are eligible towards the “Mobili Pass” financing system, through the 1 % Housing Fund in order to promote professional mobility (main criteria : individual lease, the company needs to contribute to the fund, transfer of over 70 KM away, the transferee needs to be on the French company’s payroll, etc., financial envelope : 3,200 € Tax Included). CSU handles the administrative follow-through for the file. Within the financial limit of the envelope, the company client does not pay directly and is not even invoiced. CSU’s assistance fees are handled directly by the 1% housing fund collector.
